Hey you. Yes, you. Beautiful, beautiful you with your crooked smile and crooked perfect imperfections.
I want to tell you it’s okay. People frustrate, annoy and make you run your mouth, but life is more than people. Life is more than little old you.
When everyone you love or want to love tells you to jump off a cliff or, worse, neglect you to the point that you want to…remember that their’s is just one opinion. You aren’t serving them, and you aren’t serving the negative voices inside your head.
I believe God created you for something great, stitching you together, limb by limb, a masterpiece…a grand poem…a lyric crafted with absolute care…perhaps, in this part of your life, the silence seems unending. Perhaps, the silence anticipates the next, beautiful stanza.
Don’t give up–anticipate. Wait upon a masterful conductor, a skilled architect…More to life, more to you. There is more for you than just this earth.
Don’t give up your dreams, don’t give in to their lives. They don’t know you. You were made for more than degrading comments, snide remarks and condemnation.
Dare to rejoice–they hated anyone different or brave enough to dream bigger, higher, faster.
God is powerful enough to love you right now, just as you are.
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Rom 8:1)
You are loved, you are known, you are equipped to fight against darkness. You, yes you.
